PLO 1. Know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro-and macroeconomics. PLO5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of development of economic science. PLO7. Understand the main features of the modern world and national economy, institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state PLO8. Determine supply and demand in the labor market, analyze the structure of employment and unemployment PLO11. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the basic concepts of the course "Economic Theory". Have basic methods, theoretical and practical knowledge of the disciplines "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Economic History" and "Modern Economic Systems".
Course content
The discipline "Macroeconomics" considers the problems of modern macroeconomics, which allow students to gain theoretical and practical knowledge, expands the economic worldview of students and create a scientific basis for professional activities. The discipline "Macroeconomics" is one of the components of comprehensive training of specialists of the educational level "Bachelor" specialties 051 "Economics".

The purpose of the discipline is to form theoretical and practical skills in the analysis of the macroeconomic situation in the country with an emphasis on the use of practical tools and recommendations for solving economic problems.
Assessment methods and criteria
semester assessment: 80 points maximum / 60 points minimum 1. Work on practical classes (individual presentations, additions and discussions of a theoretical nature, problem solving and solving practical problems) in the content module 1: - Max.15 points / Min. 9 points. 2. Test work on the content module 1: - Max.20 points / Min. 12 points. 3. Work on practical classes (individual presentations, additions and discussions of a theoretical nature, problem solving and solving practical problems) in the content module 2: - Max.15 points / Min. 9 points. 4. Test work on the content module 2: -Max.20 points / Min. 12 points. 5. Independent work (writing essays, abstracts): - Max. 10 points / Min. 6 points. 6. Final test - 20 points / 12 points.
