Successful mastering of the course "Economics: Micro- and Macroeconomics" and "Higher Mathematics".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the courses "History of Economic Thought".
Course content
The discipline "Microeconomics" is one of the components of comprehensive training of specialists at the educational level "Bachelor" in the educational program "Economic Analytics and Statistics" specialty 051 Economics.
The subject of the discipline is the behavior of primary business entities (households and enterprises), ie economic relations that arise at the micro level of the economic system between economic entities to best meet their needs in conditions of limited production resources.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline - the development of students' economic thinking, as well as the formation of their scientific economic worldview and professional competencies based on mastering the methodology of microeconomic analysis, in-depth study of the principles of rational behavior of economic entities in markets for goods and resources; features of pricing processes in markets with different competitive structure; mechanisms for establishing partial and general market equilibrium; major market failures and methods of their state regulation.
Assessment methods and criteria
semester evaluation 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum:
1. Discussion, oral examination - 10 points / 6 points;
2. Solving problems - 5 points / 3 points;
3. Testing - 5 points / 3 points;
4. Modular test - 20 points / 12 points;
5. Independent work (abstract) - 20 points / 12 points.
