Learning outcomes
Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of economic science (PLO5)
Apply appropriate economic-mathematical and statistical methods and models to solve economic problems (PLO 6)
Be able to analyze the processes of state and market regulation of socio-economic and labor relations (PLO10)
Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results (PLO11)
Be able to work both independently and in a team (PLO13)
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basic principles of working with open data; general methods of data processing; basic concepts of probability theory and mathematical statistics, as well as basic knowledge of higher mathematics.
2. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing, presentation of statistical data, basic data visualization skills and basic PC skills.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "General information about the information system" and module 2 "Statistical assessment of information quality".
The content of the discipline is revealed in the following topics: indicators of quality of economic information, classification of information, forms of information, concepts and types of information, data and knowledge. knowledge base, information storage and retrieval technology, text information processing technology, methodology of statistical evaluation of information, analysis of information sources, statistical methods of information quality assessment.

The purpose of the discipline is to form in future specialists a system of competencies on methods of statistical assessment of information quality
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of evaluation of applicants: (max. Points 60 / minimum points 36):
- assessment during the academic period (60 points maximum / 36 points minimum):
1. Participation in the work of laboratory classes (reports, answers to theoretical questions. Independent performance of laboratory exercises) -40 points / 24 points
2. Test work - 10 points / 6 points
3. Test -10 points / 6 points
