PLO 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of economic science, the peculiarities of the functioning of economic systems.
PLO 5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of economic science.
PLO 9. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to determine the functional areas, to calculate the relevant performance indicators of their activities

Prerequisites for mastering or choosing a discipline:
1. Know the basics of economics at the school curriculum.
2. Be able to prepare presentations in PPTX.
3. Have basic skills of public speaking.
Course content
The discipline "Theory of Money" is one of the basic economic disciplines, because it reveals modern concepts of the impact of money on economic development. This discipline highlights the essence and features of the functioning of the monetary sphere, in particular money circulation, money supply and money market, inflation and deflationary processes and more.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' holistic system of knowledge about the nature and form of money, acquaintance with the relevant methodological and methodological apparatus of knowledge in the theory of money, money circulation, money market and monetary systems, credit and currency relations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment:
- semester assessment of 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum:
1. Participation in lectures, practical classes - speeches, discussions - 12 points / 9 points
2. Blitz poll, addition - 9 points / 6 points
3. Performing practical exercises - 6 points / 3 points
4. Tests - 13 points / 6 points
5. Preparation and defense of individual independent work - 20 points / 12 points
- final assessment in the form of an exam: maximum score of 40 points, boundary grade - 24 points.
