Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, methods and functions of management, modern concepts of leadership. PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 6. Identify skills of search, collection and analysis of information, calculation of indicators to justify management decisions. PLO 21. To form a strategy and tactics for managing real and financial investments in a dynamic market environment, to develop effective investment solutions and solve complex management problems in the field of investment activities.

1. Know the main economic and financial categories. 2. Be able to perform analytical calculations and make decisions based on their results. 3. Have the skills and techniques of economic and mathematical research.
Course content
The discipline "Financial Management" aims to develop an understanding of theoretical financial concepts and practical methods and tools of financial information processing, in order to use them to make decisions in meeting the financial needs of the company, and determine optimal proportions in the structure of assets and liabilities. The following main topics are considered: financial analysis of enterprise reporting, financial planning and forecasting, basics of investment decision making, cost and capital structure, dividend policy, short-term financing, fixed capital management, bankruptcy and financial restructuring.

Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, consultations, calculation tasks, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 75 points maximum / 45 points minimum: 1. Participation in practical classes (discussions of a theoretical nature, solving practical problems, speeches (LO 1.1-1.2; 2.1-2.2; 3.- 3.21; 4.1)) - 30 points / 18 points. 2. Modular test No. 1 (topics 1 - 6) and No. 2 (topics 6 - 10) (LO 1.1-1.2; 2.1-2.2; 4.2) - 2 * 10 = 20 points / 2 * 6 = 12 points. 3. Performing independent work (preparation and defense of an analytical note, solving cases (LO 2.1-2.2; 3.1- 3.2; 4.1-4.2)) - 25 points / 15 points 4. Final test (RN 1; 2.1-2.3; 4) - 25 points / 15 points. The final grade for the student's discipline is set based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during the semester, including points obtained for independent work and final tests.
