Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 6. Demonstrate skills of search, collection and analysis of information, calculation of indicators to justify management decisions. PLO 8. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of organizations of various types of economic activity. PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. PLO 12. Evaluate the legal, social and economic consequences of the functioning of the organization. PLO 20. Use strategic management tools to strategically design a package of strategies for the development of the enterprise and its functional areas. PLO 21. Form the strategy and tactics for managing real and financial investments in a dynamic market environment, develop effective investment solutions and solve complex management problems in the field of investment activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Macroeconomics", " Economics of enterprise", "Finance of enterprise", "Management", "Marketing", "Decision making management" and other disciplines of the management cycle, revealing the content of economic laws, mechanism of their action, create conditions for using these laws in organizing activities of enterprises and determining the ways and trends of their development.
2. Knowledge of theoretical bases of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, economics of enterprise, theory of managerial decisions.
3. To be able to calculate economic and marketing characteristics, to process statistical data, to analyze statistical information, to possess a forecasting inventory with the implementation of scenario forecasts.
4. Have elementary skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content Module 1. Theoretical basis for the implementation of the concept of strategic management in the enterprise. The module studies the basic components of the system of strategic management, methods of analysis of external and internal environment of the organization, strategic segmentation of the enterprise, analyzes the peculiarities of formation of the mission and strategic goals of the organization, development of strategy and strategic set, examines the competitive advantages, competitiveness of products and enterprise.
Content Module 2. Practical tools of strategic management. The module examines the application of methods of portfolio analysis in the development of enterprise strategies, the formation of strategic flexibility and assessment of the relationship of intercompany activities, analyzes the latest tools of formation, implementation of strategy and control over its implementation, management in conditions of strategic change.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, performance of individual situation-analytical and calculation-analytical tasks, case analysis, performance of creative tasks, business game "Development of mission and slogan of the enterprise", business game "Development of enterprise strategy using methods of portfolio analysis", active methods of teaching: seminar "Solve the crosword", seminar "Strategic analysis of the industry".
Assessment methods and criteria
Regular assessment:
- oral response/individual assignment 5 points/3 points;
- test assignments 5 points/3 points
- addition 1 point/0 points;
- calculation and analytical task 5 points/3 points
Modular control: 2 modular tests.
- Modular test (for the semester 2 MT) 10/6 points;
Independent work: performance of individual tasks - individual assignments (independent work during the semester) 20/12 points.
The final assessment is carried out in the form of an exam.
