Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the content of basic economic disciplines (economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, statistics, etc.). 2. Be able to prepare presentations in Power Point. 3. Possess basic skills of public speaking, skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of data, work with the legal framework.
Course content
Theoretical and applied aspects of economic activity at the level of enterprises of all organizational and legal forms and forms of ownership are studied. Means and methods of decision-making at enterprises of different types and forms of ownership are revealed. The market environment for business management. Enterprise management. Functions, methods, and basic types of organizational management structures. The resource provision of the enterprise activity is revealed; valuation, classification, and structure of fixed assets; efficiency of use of fixed assets of the enterprise; intangible resources and intangible assets of the enterprise; assessment of the efficiency of the use of production investments; pay; enterprise cost management; assessment of the financial and economic condition of the enterprise.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, analysis of practical situations, calculation tasks, defense of individual tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: (max. Points 60 / minimum points 36) 1. Survey (LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4) - 15 points / 9 points; 2. Testing (LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4) - 15 points / 9 points; 3. Solving problems (LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4) - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Independent work (LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4; 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2) - 10 points / 6 points. Final evaluation. The maximum score for the exam is 40 points, the maximum score is 24 points. The exam is held in writing, consists of theoretical answers, tests, calculation tasks.
