1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Mathematics for Economists", "Theory of Probability and Mathematical Statistics for Economists", "Macroeconomics", "Modern Information Technologies in Economics". 2. Know: theoretical and methodological foundations of macro- and microeconomics. 3. Have the skills to use software for data processing and visualization. In turn, knowledge of this discipline contributes to the successful completion of master's theses.

The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "Descriptive Statistics", which examines statistical methods of collection, registration of mass data, their primary processing: systematization and grouping, generalization and comparison using average, absolute and relative values, as well as methods evaluation and analysis of variation, differentiation, concentration and comparison of structures in time and space; module 2 "Analytical statistics ", which reveals methods for testing statistical hypotheses about the characteristics of the sample population and you, the conformity of the empirical distribution to the theoretical, the significance of differences between means and fractions in comparable populations, as well as variances, randomness of the relationship between traits; methods of analysis of development trends and seasonal fluctuations, index analysis.

Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, practical classes, consultations, performance of practical exercises and problem solving, performance of independent calculation and analytical work.

Evaluation is carried out in points: maximum - 60 points / minimum - 36 points, incl. performing practical exercises during practical classes (RN 1; 2.1-2.3; 3.1; 4) -30 points / 18 points; 2 control modular works (topics 1-3 and 5-7) - 5 points each, together - 10 points / 6 points; preparation of calculation and analytical independent work (RN 1; 2.1-2.3; 3.2; 4) - 20 points / 12 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam.
