Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the courses: "Economic Theory", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics", "Philosophy of Economics".
2. Knowledge of the main methods developed on the basis of research of principles of functioning of economic knowledge; content and tasks of scientific regulation of cognitive process; principles of formation and implementation of economic activity; knowledge and use of basic methodological principles of modern social and humanitarian and natural sciences.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to a comprehensive study of the complex and dynamic processes that emerged and occur in the history of economics, modern economic science and economic practice, contradictions and leading trends in economic theory, the nature and mechanisms of implementation of economic ideas, taking into account the trends in the transformation of national economic systems and the prospects for their development in the global economic space. The discipline reveals the evolution of world economic theory in the unity of dominant scientific paradigms and alternative teachings; highlights the content of the main theoretical trends, currents and schools on the basis of disclosing the features of their methodological principles and theoretical foundations; establishes their interdependence, continuity and differences.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum
1. Work on the seminar (oral answers, additions) - Part 1 - LO 1.1 - 1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.2, 4. - 10 points / 1 point.
2. Work on the seminar (oral answers, additions) - Part 2- LO 1.1 - 1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.2, 4. - 10 points / 1 point.
5. Test work - (topics 1-19) - LO 1.1 - 1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.2, 4. - 20 points / 1 point.
Final assessment in the form of an exam: 40 points maximum / 24 points minimum.
