PLO 1. To know their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to understand the values of civil society, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine. PLO 3. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, methods and functions of management, modern concepts of leadership. PLO 9. Demonstrate skills of interaction, leadership, teamwork. PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. PLO 13. Communicate orally and in writing in state and foreign languages.

Full-time form

1. This is the first academic discipline that introduces the student to educational components that form professional competences, namely: "History of management", "Management", "Marketing", "Personnel management", "Investment management", "Making managerial decisions" , "Strategic management". 2. Knowledge of the Ukrainian language. 3. To be able to systematize educational information. 4. Possess basic skills: use of Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.

"Introduction to University Studies" - a discipline that allows freshmen to form a system of knowledge about the history of formation and development of university education and traditions in the world and in Ukraine; the main stages of development of economic education and science in Taras Shevchenko National University in the context of its history and present; structure and features of both the educational process in the chosen field and the future profession; to generalize the structure of knowledge about management, to study its historical development, to consider the features and characteristics of the profession, to reveal the tools of management as a science, to characterize the activities of a specialist in management.

Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, analysis of problem situations, individual creative tasks and video pitches, video pitch tournament "Neverbalika-2021", consultations, visits to the Museum of Economics, Museum of History.

Testing, essay writing, independent analytical work, discussions. Final evaluation in the form of a test.
