            PLO 7. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena in terms of fundamental principles and knowledge based on an understanding of the main directions of development of economics.
PLO 14. Identify and plan opportunities for personal professional development.
PLO 21. Be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify key characteristics of economic systems of different levels, as well as specifics of their subjects’ behavior.
PLO 28. Interpret and manage economic data, find information about the generation, structure, and meaning of economic data, analyze data sources.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Know: basic principles of economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, theoretical foundations of mathematical modeling of economics, economic informatics, management.
Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of economic information, the use of economic and mathematical methods, models and information technology to solve economic problems.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The curriculum consists of the following content modules:
Content module 1. "Theoretical foundations of economic cybernetics". The module examines the basic components of economic cybernetics as a science of economic systems management, namely, systems theory, model theory, information theory and management theory.
Content module 2. "Analysis, synthesis and optimization of economic systems". The module deals with the implementation of cybernetic approaches to the management of economic systems through the analysis, synthesis and optimization of management systems.

            Semester assessment:
1. Oral examination, solving problems (LO1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2) – 9 points / 5 points;
2. Completion of group tasks, discussions (LO 3.1, 3.2) – 15 points / 9 points; 
3. Module test (2 MT, 4 points max each) (LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) – 8 points / 5 points;
4. Individual student’s self-study (essays, 8 points, individual project, 20 points) (LO 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, 4.1) – 28 points / 17 points 
The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam with a maximum score of 40 points (marginal score of 24 points).
