PLO 12. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical tasks and meaningfully interpret the obtained results. PLO 21. Be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify key characteristics of economic systems of different levels, as well as specifics of their subjects’ behavior. PLO 22. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in new situations, in dealing with new objects and in uncertain conditions. PLO 25. Apply appropriate mathematical methods for the analysis of economic phenomena in terms of fundamental principles and knowledge of economics. PLO 26. Understand and skillfully use mathematical and numerical methods often used in economic research.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts of the theory of boundaries of sequences and functions, the concept of differentiation and integration of a function of one variable. 2. Have the skills to differentiate and integrate the functions of one variable, to apply the derivatives to the study of functions.
Course content
The curriculum consists of the following content modules: Content module 1. "Functions of many variables", which considers the concepts of continuity, differentiability of the function of many variables and studies the classical methods of optimization; Content module 2. "Ordinary differential equations, series, multiple integrals", which discusses methods for integrating ordinary differential equations, the study of the convergence of numerical and functional series, methods for calculating multiple integrals.
