Have specialized conceptual knowledge that includes current scientific achievements in the field of computer science and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research, critical thinking of problems in the field of computer science and at the border of the fields of knowledge. Have specialized computer science problem-solving skills necessary for conducting research and/or conducting innovative activities to develop new knowledge and procedures. It is clear and unambiguous to convey one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments in the field of computer science to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to persons who are studying. Design architectural solutions of information and computer systems for various purposes. Conduct research in the field of computer science. Create and research informational and mathematical models of systems and processes under investigation, including automation objects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of the theory and practice of artificial intelligence, the main technologies of artificial intelligence. To be able to actively use and creatively apply the above-mentioned knowledge in the process of processing the materials of the course "Seminar on Research Aspects of Artificial Intelligence". Have skills in creating software systems in Python and/or R.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to master the basic ideas and methods used in the creation of artificial intelligence systems, to form students' ability to develop, research and apply artificial intelligence technologies in professional activities and/or in the learning process. The formation of the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, which is necessary for solving professional and scientific tasks, is expected. Possession of knowledge at the level of the latest achievements, which are necessary for research and/or innovative activities in the field of artificial intelligence and its practical applications. Ability to develop new and improve existing artificial intelligence technologies, ability to solve new problems in new fields of knowledge. Development of students' ability for self-education and professional development based on innovative approaches in the field of artificial intelligence.

Assessment methods and criteria
Active work in seminar classes involves active participation in the discussion of topics of scientific reports of classmates, answers to questions from the audience. Independent work involves independent processing of the literature on the subject of the material, reports on the proposed topics, writing the program and conducting research on the proposed topic. Assessment of students is carried out during the semester for all types of work, including studying the theoretical material of the course, completing tasks for independent performance. The maximum number of points for the study period is 80 points. The critical and calculated minimum of points for study is 40 points, the recommended minimum, calculated taking into account the specifics of the discipline, is 48 points. The form of assessment is written. The credit card consists of 2 theoretical questions. Each task is evaluated from 0 to 10 points. In total, you can get up to 20 points for the credit.
