Learning outcomes
Apply knowledge of fundamental and natural sciences, system analysis and modeling technologies, standard algorithms and discrete analysis when solving problems of designing and using information systems and technologies. Argue the choice of software and technical means for creating information systems and technologies based on the analysis of their properties, purpose and technical characteristics, taking into account system requirements and operating conditions; have skills in debugging and testing software and technical means of information systems and technologies. Use cloud technologies, including when developing web and mobile applications; in general, the ability to develop software to exchange data between remote IoT devices. Use the capabilities of hardware, use the capabilities of operating systems, use the capabilities of network software systems, ensure the security of programs and data from unauthorized actions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the discipline "Technologies and protocols of multi-service networks" in the third semester. 2. Know: the concept of routing; tasks, advantages and disadvantages of static routing; tasks, advantages and disadvantages of dynamic routing; the role, meaning and methods of switching in networks; commands for basic configuration and security configuration of the switch; the concept of virtual local networks; principles of operation of access control lists; principles of operation of the DHCP protocol; operating principles of NAT technology; methods of detection, management and maintenance of devices in the network. 3. Be able to: analyze routing tables; configure static and default routes for IPv4 and IPv6; configure the RIPv2 dynamic routing protocol; choose a switch for the tasks of a specific network; carry out basic security settings of the switch; perform segmentation of virtual local networks and configure routing between VLANs.
Course content
While studying the discipline, students master the effective application of network information technologies using modern methods of building computer networks. Basic concepts of the principles of building modern computer networks are considered; the latest and promising developments of network technologies; the current state of development of communication channels for computer networks; new telecommunication protocols; network information processing technologies; modern computer network management tools; management of network equipment and network information resources. The discipline corresponds to the "CCNAv7: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation" course of the Cisco network academy.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after the end of lectures, electronic control works with test and open questions are conducted. The result of the student's laboratory work is a report, which must be defended through an oral examination on the topic of the work. Performance and defense of laboratory work takes place during the semester in accordance with the approved class schedule. A condition for obtaining a positive final grade for a discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
