Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined as the sum of points for systematic work throughout the semester, taking into account the final exam. The final grade is assigned based on the student's performance throughout the semester and does not involve additional assessment measures. For students who have accumulated a total score lower than the critical calculation minimum of 20 points, to obtain a passing grade, it is mandatory to cover the missed topics in written form or during an oral interview with the instructor. Thus, the final grade for the course (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) is composed of the sum of points for semester work (minimum 36, maximum 60 points) and the final exam (minimum 24, maximum 40 points).
