Learning outcomes
On the basis of relevant courses, industrial practice, research workshop to form in higher education students the ability to conduct research on geospheres and their components based on analysis and interpretation of geological data, establish patterns of geological structure and development of geospheres, solve complex practical and / or scientific problems and , based on this, provide an assessment of the impact on human society and the possibility of artisanal use of the results.

Course content
Qualification exam in geophysics - control of the student's achievement of learning outcomes at the educational level "Master" on the basis of mastering the educational program "Geophysics" and his willingness to work in the specialty. The program of the qualification exam is developed on the specialty "103 - Earth Sciences" and the corresponding level of education "Master" on the basis of the standards of professional higher education of the corresponding level. The program is approved by the Director of the Institute of Geology and is placed at the official institute six months before its implementation. The program of the qualifying exam contains the content of tasks, stages, literature.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Consultations сonducting consultations in accordance with the list of issues covered by the exam program. Before the exam, the members of the examination commission informed the students about the requirements and procedure for taking the qualifying exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
The state exam is graded on a 100-point scale. There are 4 questions on the exam, which are evaluated by 25 points each. The form of the exam is written-oral
