Learning outcomes
-Basic concepts and terms of the theory of propagation of elastic waves in a homogeneous anisotropic medium -Classification of seismic acoustics methods and for determining elastic permanent minerals -Methods of quantitative assessment of elastic and acoustic anisotropy - ethods for solving the direct and inverse problem of acoustics of minerals -Fundamentals of acoustics of rock textures and the principle of quasi-homogeneity of rocks and types -Fundamentals of elastic and acoustic anisotropy of rock textures and its nature -Fundamentals of seismic acoustics of geoformations and geocomplexes -Methods of seismic tomography and methods of speed recovery in seismic tomography -Principles of construction of stereoprojections of seismoacoustic parameters of geological environment -Process and describe the results of seismic data processing and explain their relationship with GO -Have basic skills in computer programs for interpreting seismic dat

1. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geophysics and seismic wave fields. 2. Have the skills to work with a personal computer.
Course content
The program of the discipline focuses on the analysis of complex geological environment by modern methods of seismoacoustics (mineral rock - geoformation - geocomplex geosphere). The methodology and methods of studying multiscale seismic inhomogeneities and distinguishing the effects of inhomogeneity and anisotropy are considered. The theory of propagation of elastic waves in anisotropic geological environment at different scale levels of structural research is explained. Acquaintance with the equipment and a technique of the basic methods of seismic acoustics is carried out. The theoretical bases of seismoacoustic tomography are included in the consideration.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes: practical work (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher), independent work (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve tasks without limiting tools) and problem-solving techniques) and conducting 1 written module test. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written exam.
