4. Mastery of personal computer skills and modern software.
Course content
The subject of the training is devoted to the consideration of algorithms for solving direct and inverse problems of electric and electromagnetic sounding and profiling methods using artificial and natural sources of electric and electromagnetic fields, as well as in-depth study of methods of qualitative and quantitative interpretation of electric and electromagnetic methods. currents used to solve structural problems, geological mapping, prospecting for ore deposits, solving problems of hydrogeology, engineering geology and geoecology. Methods of vertical electric sensing, dipole sounding, frequency electromagnetic sounding, field formation sounding, magnetotelluric sounding, electrochemical methods - natural electric field and induced polarization, methods of electric and low-frequency inductive profiling, as well as high-frequency electrometry are considered.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the module-rating system and includes: practical work (where applicants must demonstrate the quality of their knowledge and solve the tasks set, using the methods and means outlined by the teacher) and written module tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written exam. During the exam, the applicant writes a written paper followed by an oral explanation of the answers and results of solving problems. An applicant is not allowed to take the final examination in the form of an exam if he or she scored less than 20 points during the semester.
