Course content
"Modern methods and technology of data processing of remote sensing of the Earth" is directed to the study of the Earth's surface with the help of aerial and space images and skills in correction of received data using photogrammetric data. Improving the quality of visual image perception. Spatial transformation and filtering in the image area. Methods of correction of geometric distortions. Perspective models. Conversion of multi-zone data. RGB clustering. GIS analysis of raster and vector data. QGIS data processing software packages and EarthExplorer and EO Browser sites. Creation of various scale cartographic materials, in particular maps and orthophoto plans.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes and independent work of the student
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the cumulative system and involves: performance of 5 practical works (where students have to demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve the tasks using the outlined ones methods and means by the teacher) and conducting 2 written modular tests works The final assessment is conducted in the form of a credit.
