Learning outcomes
The discipline includes the characteristics of the geological structure of the bearing provinces of Ukraine, namely the structure and composition of the foundation, the stratigraphy of the sedimentary cover and elements of its structure. Attention is paid to oil and gas geological zoning, the oil and gas complexes within each region are considered. The course is also mastered by students performing three practical works on the analysis of the geological structure of oil and gas bearing regions on ground of geological maps, sections, stratigraphic schemes, scientific literature and production reports.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geology. 2. Possession of skills in working with scientific sources. Have basic skills in working with a personal computer.
