Apply their knowledge to identify and resolve problematic issues and make informed decisions in the field of thematic processing of geological, geophysical and other geospatial data. Be able to communicate with specialists and experts of different levels of other fields of knowledge, including in the international context, in the global information environment. To develop, manage and manage projects focused on the study of the geological structure of the upper part of the earth's crust and its sedimentary layer in particular, evaluate and ensure the quality of work. Plan and carry out scientific experiments, write scientific papers in the field of geoinformatics. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and act in a new situation related to work in the specialty, the ability to generate new ideas in the field of geoinformatics.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Acquisition of knowledge in professional disciplines in the specialization.
Course content
The research practice in the master's specialization is focused on the acquisition of practical skills and abilities by masters in the specialty 103 "Earth Sciences" of the educational program "Geoinformatics" for their professional development and research activities. During the internship, students work on their own scientific topics, conducting research within the framework of their own master's thesis. The practice contributes to the formation of students' initial competence in conducting independent research activities, acquiring skills in organizing and developing a master's thesis, developing creative abilities, the ability to justify and express opinions, work in a team, independently set and solve scientific and applied problems. The subject of the practice is the process of targeted development and formation of special competencies, knowledge and skills that contribute to the self-realization of the student as a scientist in the field of geoinformatics.
