Learning outcomes
- To know and apply in professional activity normative-legal acts, normative-technical documents, reference materials in the field of geodesy and land management and related industries. - Select and apply tools, equipment, hardware and software required for remote, terrestrial, field and in-house surveys in the field of geodesy and land management. - Organize and perform remote, ground, field and camera work in the field of geodesy and land management, draw up the results of work, prepare relevant reports.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students must have knowledge of courses, "Geoinformatics", "Topography", skills in working with a personal computer, have a basic level of programming knowledge, experience in searching for data on the Internet and filtering search queries.
Course content
The program of the discipline focuses on the parameters of electromagnetic waves used in remote sensing; types of carriers of aerospace equipment; types of remote sensing; types of remote sensing devices; approaches to image pre-processing; signs of interpretation of terrestrial objects in space and aerial photographs. The task of the course is to learn to distinguish between types of remote materials, determine the scale of images, assess the level of input data and directly perform pre-processing, perform automated thematic decoding of images of the earth's surface and identify certain types of objects and covers based on available data. objects on remote materials and determine their spectral characteristics, have the basics of using the functionality of specialized software packages focused on the processing of aerospace data.
