Course content
The discipline includes: acquaintance with the main directions of prospects and prospects for the discovery of new oil and gas fields in connection with the growing needs of society in hydrocarbons as sources of energy and raw materials for petrochemistry; the main components of the hydrocarbon system from the standpoint of organic origin of oil and gas; statistical methods of research of oil and gas reservoirs; problems of opening and development of productive objects in oil and gas wells; the main reasons for the omissions of oil and gas facilities at the stage of exploration. The main problematic points in the search, exploration and development of oil and gas from the standpoint of increasing the hydrocarbon base and oil and gas production are considered.
