Learning outcomes
Know the basics of the methodology of probabilistic, cartographic and deterministic hydrogeological modeling; principles of application of GIS technologies in hydrogeological modeling; to be able to choose the optimal type of hydrogeological model for solving a specific economic problem; schematize hydrogeological conditions for further hydrogeological modeling; apply existing software tools in hydrogeological modeling

Course content
Students will gain knowledge about mathematical (probabilistic and deterministic) and cartographic modeling of the movement of groundwater in natural and modified under the influence of
human activity in conditions, as well as issues of methodology for the implementation of the created hydrogeological models used in solving a number of practical economic problems

Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves lab works and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written test. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 40 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 48 to 80 points. During the test the student can get from 12 to 20 points
