Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical bases and methodological principles of regional engineering and geological research of territories; the influence of geological and climatic factors on the engineering and geological conditions of the territories and their spatial variability; characterization of the main engineering-geological regions of the country; be able to generalize and analyze the results of regional engineering-geological studies; take into account the peculiarities of the engineering and geological conditions of the territories during economic development; draw up maps of engineering and geological conditions, zoning of territories; draw up the best version of the project of engineering and geological studies in different regions

Have basic knowledge of geology, engineering geology, geomorphology, hydrogeology
Course content
Providing students with the basic theoretical and methodological foundations of regional engineering geology; basic knowledge about the patterns of formation, distribution of engineering and geological conditions in different regions; mastering the principles and methods of engineering-geological zoning of territories and building engineering-geological maps for predicting changes in engineering-geological conditions under the influence of engineering and economic activities

Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the performance of tasks in the practical classes and 2 written tests. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to the final assessment, if during the semester collected less than 20 points. During a semester, a student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam a student can get from 24 to 40 points
