Learning outcomes
Know the parameters characterizing the gravitational and elastic capacity of rocks; the concept of the formation of dynamic groundwater resources; patterns of formation of operational groundwater reserves in typical hydrogeological conditions; be able to assess the dynamic and operational resources of groundwater using different methods; carry out a set of works to minimize the anthropogenic impact on groundwater; evaluate the impact of groundwater extraction on the environment
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Have basic knowledge of hydrogeology, groundwater dynamics
Course content
providing future specialists with theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of groundwater use, understanding the conditions of occurrence and the use of powerful tools for assessing groundwater reserves in order to extract the latter, depending on the specific conditions of the location of aquifers

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory work, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves laboratory work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 20 points during the semester.
