Learning outcomes
Know modeling methods in engineering geology and their classification. be able to determine the types of loads when calculating the foundations of structures; calculate the stability of slopes based on the analysis of the stress state within the entire slope; evaluate process change taking into account changing factors

Knowledge in physics, information technology, cartography, methods of hydrogeological and engineering geological research, soil science, soil mechanics, hydrogeology
Course content
assimilation by students of the basic principles of the theory of engineering-geological modeling, methods of engineering-geological forecasts; acquisition of the necessary skills to assess the impact of any factor on the geological environment and vice versa; to teach students to analyze and evaluate specific data on the engineering and geological conditions of the territory for modeling and forecasting

Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves lab works and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written test. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 40 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 48 to 80 points. During the test the student can get from 12 to 20 points
