Learning outcomes
PRN2. Apply specialised problem-solving skills required for research and implementation of innovation activities in order to develop new knowledge and procedures in the field of tourism and recreation. PLO13. Plan, organise and perform scientific and applied research in the field of tourism and recreation, choose methods and tools research methods and tools, formulate and test hypotheses, justify conclusions. PLO14. Plan and teach special disciplines in higher education institutions, develop their methodological support.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the disciplines taught in the study programme ‘Tourism’ and / or similar educational programmes Master's degree programmes. 2. Possession of interpersonal communication skills.
Course content
This discipline is designed to to master in practice the knowledge and skills to carry out teaching activities in higher education institution. During the internship, students under the under the guidance of an assigned teacher of the department conduct seminars and/or practical classes, attend classes conducted by the supervisor of the internship, classes of other trainees, as well as master the methodology of of teaching in higher education in Ukraine. Students also get acquainted with with the educational and methodological work of the department and are engaged in self-study. During the internship during the internship, trainees must strictly comply with the rules of labour protection and fire safety.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
During the course of the assistantship, the supervisor exercises current supervision by attending classes and consultations, reviewing teaching and learning materials (lesson plans, teaching methods and methods of teaching, forms of current control of applicants) prepared by the prepared by the trainee. At the end of the internship, the supervisor conducts an oral interview of the trainee.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is carried out throughout the internship period. Results of the training, if mastered at the appropriate level, are assessed as follows: 1. Oral examination - from 10 to 20 points. 2. Current control - from 25 to 40 points. 3. Checking of educational and methodological developments and materials - from 25 to 40 points. Applicants who have scored a total of less than the specified minimum (60 points), repeat certain components of the practice programme and/or complete additional individual tasks.
