Learning outcomes
PRN3. Apply modern digital technologies,
methods and tools of research and innovation
activities to solve complex problems in the
field of tourism and recreation.
PRN6. Analyze and evaluate the activities of
tourism market entities, plan the results of
their strategic development.
PRN7. To organize cooperation with
stakeholders, to form mechanisms of
interaction of tourism market subjects with
taking into account aspects of social and
ethical responsibility.
PRN8. Manage processes in tourism and
recreation industry entities at different
hierarchical levels, which are complex,
unpredictable and require new strategic
approaches.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1). Successful mastering of the disciplines
"Management of the quality of tourist
services", "Geospatial planning and
management in the field of tourism and
recreation".
2). To be able to: apply knowledge about
the organization and application of modern
digital technologies when solving tasks in
tourism activities; to navigate the creation
and posting of materials on the global
Internet, to use IT technologies at the
enterprise, to create a business card site.
3).To have basic skills of creating tourist
sites; work in reservation systems;
knowledge of network software
applications using WEB technologies.
Course content
educational discipline is devoted to the
study of the theoretical and methodological
foundations of digital technologies in
tourism, their essence, structure; basic
concepts and strategies in managing the
activities of tourist enterprises.
Illuminates the issue of the current state
and trends in the development of
information systems; gives an idea of the
main corporate information systems in the
context of tourism business management,
information support for management, decision-making, social networks and
promotion of specialists in a professional
environment, creation of website content.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-
level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training -
learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.10), which is 50% of the total assessment and the assessment
of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1.-2.7) - 30%; (communication 3) – 10%;
(autonomy and responsibility 4.1.-4.2.) – 10% of the total grade.
