PLO 4. To analyze the geospatial
organization of the tourist process,
project its strategic development on the
basis of sustainability.
PLO5. To carry out a comprehensive
analysis and evaluation of the
functioning of the tourist market at
different hierarchical levels, to forecast
the trends of its development.
PLO8. To manage processes in tourism
and recreation industry entities at
different hierarchical levels, which are
complex, unpredictable and require
new strategic approaches.
PLO12. To analyze, formulate and
implement national and regional
tourism policies, to improvemechanisms for managing tourist
destinations at the national, regional

1. Knowledge of the foundations of management/ governance;
3. Basic knowledge and skills of analysis, synthesis, work with foreign language literature, oral and
written academic communications.
Course content
the discipline "Sustainable Tourism Management" reveals the characteristic
features and its essential components of evolutionary approaches in tourism management and the
establishment of the imperative of sustainability in its modern development; masters the skills and
abilities of benchmarking analysis of international management practices of sustainable
development of tourism in the context of modern tasks (including recovery of tourism and
achievement of sustainable development goals) in Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Tests (5) – 40/24 points 2. Analytical reports (5) – 25/10 points 3. Oral presentation (5) – 25/15 points. 4. Participation in the discussion (5) – 10/6 points For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum cut-off grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points), a semester test is conducted, the maximum grade is 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points ). The condition for receiving a positive final grade in the discipline is achieved. at least 60% of the maximum the possible number of points, while the assessment for learning results cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 20, 5 and 8 points, respectively) Final evaluation in the form of an exam - in the form of peer review of an analytical essay (by random selection) regarding the problems and prospects of introducing a specific version of management experience. permanent solution tour. in Ukraine.
