1. knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geopolitics and political geography, political science, geospatial management; 2. be able to evaluate and analyze the current state of development and implementation of regional policy policy, the consequences of the implementation of regional policy objectives for social and economic development of regions, taking into account economic, social and political factors.

The discipline is devoted to the study of theoretical and applied foundations of regional policy, its essence, principles of development and implementation; basic concepts and directions of regional policy in market conditions; experience of experience of developed countries in regional policy issues; current state and problems of the implementation of regional policy objectives in Ukraine. Covers the issues of organizational basis implementation of regional policy in Ukraine, stages and mechanism of realization of goals and objectives of regional policy, the problems of imperfection of the existing administrative and territorial structure and regional governance of Ukraine in modern conditions.

Lectures, seminars, consultations, independent work.

Assessment is carried out throughout the semester for all types of work, including independent work and individual assignments. Individual tasks are formed individually for each student, in particular - completion of independent work (essays) on one of the selected topics, which is evaluated by a single grade for each student and is completed - by November 1, by December 1; - individual creative analytical work is due by November 30; - defense - presentation of the results of individual creative analytical work is carried out during the last two weeks of theoretical training.
