PLO01. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the study of of territorial and political systems at different levels of spatial organization organization PLO03. To be fluent (orally and written) in professional and scientific activities in professional and scientific activities in the field of geography and political science in Ukrainian and and foreign languages. PLO08. To conduct research of natural and social (political) geographical manifestations of the development of geosystems in complex and unpredictable conditions, to predict their development, analyze alternatives, assess risks and possible consequences. PLO 14. Formulate scientific hypotheses, identify relevant aspects in fundamental and applied areas of research, develop and manage projects in the field of political geography and geopolitics, geospatial management of territorial and political systems and regional development.

Full-time form

1) Basic knowledge of the theoretical foundations of global and regional geography, regional and country studies, geography of the world economy, socio-economic geography of the world; 2) Basic skills of comparative geographical analysis, notation and review of literary sources

The course traces the essence of the theoretical foundations of geoglobalistics, considering, in particular: the essence of the concepts of globalization and globalism; evolution. causal effects of global transformations; theoretical approaches and schools of global studies; spatio-temporal and geospatial principles of the geographical approach in global studies; object-subject essence of geoglobalistics and its place in the discourse of global research; systemic dimensions of globalization; geospatial measurement of global problems geospatial measurement of the consequences of globalization; essence and methods, application of critical thinking techniques and interdisciplinary research on globalization discourse

Throughout the term evaluation: 1. Bitz-tests – 20/12 points 2. Presentation - 20/12 poits 3. Presentation of critical reading results - 20/12 points For students who failed to reach the minimum level of the grade throughout the term (60% of the maximum possible points) the semester test is conducted, the maximum score for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). For obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline it is necessary to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, and the grade for learning results provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 may not be less than 50% of the maximum level (not less than 20, 5 and 8 points respectively).
