Learning outcomes
To know: The methodology of comprehensive economic-geographical research; the specifics of production and project activities, management, and operation of economic objects of different ownership forms and production purposes in cities, including social infrastructure and utilities; the themes and range of work carried out by an institution as a whole and its structural units, key areas of its activity, types of reporting documents, and how they are utilized. To be able to: Apply knowledge to identify and solve specific problem issues and make well-grounded decisions; conduct geospatial analysis, work with geographic information systems (GIS), select and present analytical materials, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of professional training courses. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical and applied foundations of economic and social geography, urban and regional development. 3. Proficiency in methods for performing analytical, forecasting, cartographic, and design tasks. 4. Confident skills in using specialized software and geographic information systems.
Course content
The content of the production practice includes the full range of tasks that need to be completed at the workplace of the specific practice base and involves the collection and processing of economic and statistical information, conducting practical research and experiments necessary for preparing the final practice report and individual tasks. The practice will help students master modern methods and techniques of scientific analysis of socio-geographical phenomena and processes, as well as gain proficiency in working with geospatial information. It is expected that students will be involved in the analysis, preparation, release, coordination, and approval of urban planning documentation, strategic and spatial documents regarding urban and regional development at various hierarchical levels. Within the framework of the practice, students will learn to analyze and summarize the data obtained, develop skills for independently solving a set of technical, project, and economic issues, and become familiar with the work of various specialized institutions and organizations.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of the students' industrial practice are evaluated on a 100-point scale and include a characterization of the student, an overall evaluation from the supervisor of the institution, an assessment of the completion of the individual assignment, and the evaluation of the preparation level and defense of the report.
