Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Theories of regional development management", "Theories of RPS and regional economy", "Territorial management"; 2. Possession of basic skills in the application of general scientific methods.
Course content
The discipline is aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge regarding the methodology of urban and regional development management, in particular laws, regularities and principles of management processes. The course includes 2 substantive parts. Part 1 includes topics: Features of urban development Global trends in urban development: international experience Legal bases, regularities and principles of management processes in the city Part 2 includes topics: Regulation of entrepreneurial activity Methods and procedures of regulatory activity of local self-government bodies of the city Foreign experience of small business operation Social infrastructure as an object of city management

Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes 2 substantive parts. The discipline ends with an exam. During the semester, after the completion of the relevant content modules, modular control tests are conducted in written form. The maximum number of points awarded for the 1st and 2nd substantive modules is 30 points. The discipline ends with a written exam. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam). Students who scored a total of less than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points.
