PLO. 3. To know the regulatory and legal framework for ensuring the rational use, protection, accounting and valuation of land at the national, regional, local and economic levels, procedures for state registration of land plots, other real estate and restrictions on their use; PLO. 5. Use methods of collecting information in the field of geodesy and land management, its systematization and classification in accordance with the task PLO. 12. To master the methods of organization of topographic, geodetic and land management production from field measurements to management and sale of topographic and land management products based on the use of knowledge of the basics of legislation and production management

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic legislative and regulatory acts of topographic, geodetic and cartographic activities in land management; general characteristics of planning and cartographic material in land management, etc; 2. Be able to carry out basic geodetic work in land management and cadastral activities, taking into account legal aspects; 3. Possess the latest technologies of geodetic measurements and their mathematical processing.
Course content
The discipline covers both legal and engineering aspects of land management to obtain accurate information on the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of land and its location. The main land management activities (privatization of land plots, creation of a land allotment project, maintenance of the land cadastre, etc.) are not possible without conducting appropriate geodetic surveys. But the specifics are different from the general (basic) topographic, geodetic and cartographic activities. Therefore, the subject of study of the discipline is the peculiarities of conducting topographic, geodetic and cartographic works, taking into account legal aspects for the needs of land management.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course has a single content part. Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical and seminar sessions. Tests, practical work and the final module test are conducted after the relevant topics have been covered. The course ends with a test. For students who have not reached the minimum grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, a final survey is conducted, the maximum grade for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). A condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for learning outcomes provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 24 and 13 points, respectively).
