Analyze the patterns of occurrence and development of processes and phenomena in the atmosphere in their interaction with with other geospheres (SLO 1). Be able to communicate with specialists and experts of different levels of other fields of knowledge, including in an international context, in global information environment (PLO 3). To know modern methods of research meteorology and be able to apply them to apply them in production and research activities (PLO-7). To develop and implement mechanisms of territorial management, geoplanning, to monitor regional development, to draw up plans and programs taking into account meteorological and climatic information (PRN-9). Demonstrate the ability to adaptation and action in a new situation, related to the work in the specialty, the ability to generate new ideas in the the field of Earth sciences (PLO-10).

Knowledge of the theoretical basis of the course of atmospheric processes and phenomena; possession of skills of processing meteorological and climatic information, methods of synthesis and analysis of information synthesis and analysis.

The discipline "Urban Meteorology" is part of the educational and professional training program for specialists at the educational and qualification level Master of Science in the field of knowledge: 10-natural sciences, specialties: 103-earth sciences, by educational program - meteorology.
