Course content
Educational discipline "Foreign language/ Professional translation (English)" for students of the Faculty of Geography is available a component of the educational and professional program of training specialists for educational qualification level "bachelor" in the field of knowledge 24 Service sphere, specialties 242 Tourism. Discipline is a must. It is taught in the III and IV semesters of the II year in the amount of 120 hours, in particular: practical - 8 hours, independent work - 112 hours. The course includes 2 contents modules.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester grade is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning material on all subjects of the discipline and performance of independent tasks. Maximum the number of points that can be obtained during the 3rd semester is 100, during 4th semester, – 100. The points received by the student during each semester, make up 100% of the final grade in the discipline. The unit test is run on the latter classes of each content module; the result of the final tests is 20% final grade for the discipline (20 points / 12 points). Presentation of three topics, which the student prepares independently in extra-auditory time and presents during the class class, makes up 30% of the final grade for the discipline (30 points / 18 points).
