Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. successful completion of the courses "Economic Geography", "Methods of Urban Research", "Theory and Practice of Planning" and completion of "Practical Training on the Fundamentals of Field Urban Research", "Practical Training on Methods of Obtaining Geographic Information", "Practical Training on Methods of Processing Geographic Information"; 2. knowledge of the theoretical foundations of social geography, location of production, population settlement, general principles of conducting scientific research, sources of geographical information, basic mathematical and statistical methods of urban research; 3. proficiency in working with computer programs MS Word, MS Excel, software for using the Internet, as well as the ability to perform basic mathematical and statistical calculations
Course content
During the Practical Training on Methods of Geographical Information Dissemination, students conduct research on socio-geographic processes and phenomena, which involves obtaining practical skills related to the systematization of information, its processing, presentation and dissemination of research results. Educational tasks are aimed at practicing methods for disseminating geographic information and research results through various means and information channels. In terms of content, the internship includes five thematic components: 1) media screening for the purposes of geographical research; 2) preparation of materials based on the results of geographical research for posting on a thematic website; 3) preparation of a microblog based on the results of geographical research; 4) preparation of materials based on the results of geographical research for posting on social networks; 5) presentation of geographical research.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the training practice, 5 educational tasks are to be completed. Classes are held in the form of practical work, as well as independent work. The discipline ends with a differentiated test. During the training practice, group and individual consultations are held and the students' performance of practical tasks is checked on an ongoing basis. During the study of the educational discipline, systematic weekly interim reporting is carried out. The acquisition of knowledge and skills by students is also assessed during the verification and defense of the final report. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a differentiated test, at which students defend their written reports.
