Learning outcomes
Know: the main geographical patterns in the territorial manifestation of natural conditions within the territory of Ukraine and in the manifestation of the properties of natural components; the main characteristics (qualitative and quantitative) of natural components and natural conditions within the territory of Ukraine, natural (physical and geographical) regions
Be able to: reveal the cause-and-effect relationships of processes and phenomena that lead to the formation of natural territorial complexes; develop comprehensive physical and geographical descriptions of territories (administrative and territorial regions, natural regions, other territories) in accordance with practical needs.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Have basic knowledge of the course "Natural Geography";
be able to analyze cause-and-effect relationships between processes and phenomena that lead to the formation of various natural territorial complexes;
possess modern methods of searching, systematizing and primary processing of geographic information; elementary skills of analyzing and synthesizing geographic information, comparative geographical analysis
Course content
The academic discipline "Physical Geography of Ukraine" includes an overview of the general features of the nature of the territory of Ukraine by components and more detailed characteristics of regional physical and geographical units - countries, zones, regions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, individual work
Assessment methods and criteria
Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. The course ends with an exam.
Semester assessment: the number of points that a student receives during the semester is the sum of the points that were received when evaluating the work in seminars and performing thematic tests.
Organization of assessment: Work in seminars is assessed by performance, in accordance with the schedule of seminars. Thematic tests are carried out in the form of a test.
