Learning outcomes
Acquisition of knowledge and understanding of the subject area and professional activities in the field of urban tourism; ability to apply knowledge in the practice of urban development planning; ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values ​​and achievements of society based on understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system of knowledge about cities and in the development of cities, use various types and forms of physical activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful completion of the courses "Human Geography". 2) proficiency in working with cartographic sources, computer programs MS Word, MS Excel.
Course content
The basics of tourism, its types, components of the tourism industry are taught, leisure service provision and production and maintenance support of a city tour are studied, quality management of a tourist product is considered, architecture is considered as an important component of urban tourism, as well as regional traditions of landscape art in the formation of the urban environment, information is provided about tourist ratings of cities in the world and Ukraine, UNESCO sites located in cities, as well as museum cities.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes 2 thematic parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. The discipline ends with a test. Semester assessment: the number of points that a student receives during the semester is the sum of the points that were obtained when evaluating the work in seminars and performing thematic tests. Assessment organization: Work in seminars is assessed upon completion, in accordance with the schedule of seminars. During the semester, thematic tests are conducted in the form of tests after completing the consideration of the relevant thematic parts.
