PLO6. Apply the principles and methods of organization and technology of tourist service in practical activities. PLO9. To organize the process of serving consumers of tourist services based on the use of modern information, communication and service technologies and compliance with quality standards and safety norms. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Tourism Studies", "International Organizations", "Tourist Country Studies", "Organization of Excursion Services". 2. Be able to: apply knowledge about the organization of modern algorithms of transport service in tourism when solving tasks in tourism activities; to navigate the issues of creating and promoting the transport component of the tourist service in the global Internet network, to use global distribution systems.
Course content
The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of transport service in tourism, its essence, structure; basic concepts and strategies in the management of transport services in tourism. Illuminates the issue of the current state and trends in the development of transport; gives an idea of ​​the main types of transport in the context of tourism business management, informational support for management decision-making. This discipline is designed to show the objectivity and necessity of introducing modern transport systems in tourism activities in Ukraine and at the international level in the conditions of globalization, under the conditions of defending national interests, taking into account the program complexes of transport management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical work, analytical report
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, blitz surveys and express tests are conducted at lectures and practical works to determine the level of assimilation of relevant knowledge, which in the end form up to 10% of the grade. Each practical work is evaluated in 2.5 points, which add up to the final 20%. Practical works that are submitted late are counted (provided they are completed by more than 60%) as a prerequisite for admission to the credit, but they are not graded. Final control work in the form of tests and open-ended questions, which is designed to reveal the knowledge and skills acquired while mastering the course material. - Participation in discussions of topical issues (up to 5 points in the final assessment); - presentations of individual studies. Evaluation of the presentation: - content part and disclosure of the topic - up to 5 points; - multimedia component and presentation of research results - up to 3 points; - answers to questions - up to 2 points
