1. Successful completion of the courses "Fundamentals of Tourism Studies", "Introduction to University studies", "Tourist regional studies", "Tourist regional studies", "Fundamentals of organization of scientific research in tourism", "Organization of excursion services", "Information technologies in tourism, "Museum tourism"/"Museums of the world and tourism". Successful completion of "Educational practice in tourist orientation and of local studies". 2. Knowledge of theoretical foundations: To know the essence of the museum as an institute of social memory, a scientific institution, a tourist resource, a component of the tourism industry; classification of museums; museum tourism as a type of cultural tourism; peculiarities of its development in Ukraine, various regions and countries of the world. 3. To have elementary skills in determining ways of promoting the museum to the tourist market.

Professionally oriented winter training practice (museum) for students majoring in "Tourism" takes place in Kyiv and lasts for two weeks It involves visiting museums of various profiles, participating in museum tours, getting acquainted with information about museums from other sources. In its course is carried out a comprehensive study of museums with the aim of assessing modern and prospective involvement in the field of tourism, as well as the development of an excursion route through the museums of the capital of Ukraine.

Lectures, seminars, self-study, group and individual consultations, excursion, observation, discussion, trial excursion route, training session

The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by visiting museums, drawing up passports, preparing presentations, oral interviews, developing an excursion route, preparing and defending a final report. Both individual and group tasks are expected. Intermediate control takes place in the form of an oral survey after visiting the museum of each profile, preparing its passport and presentation, as well as developing the excursion route. The final evaluation in the form of a differentiated credit is issued based on the results of intermediate control, based on the defense of reports by teams, surveys on individual topics, as well as the teacher's observations of the nature of individual and collective work of students. The grade is reported on the last day of practice.
