Prerequisites and co-requisites
Operate with the knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of the "Foreign language (English)" course at a minimum sufficient level of B1 according to the CEFR.
Course content
Content module 1: TOURISM – SERVICES. Topic 1. Where to stay? Updating the meaning of the word in the context. Types of lexical equivalents
Topic 2. Organizer of a tourist trip. Cross-linguistic differences at the grammatical level
Topic 3. Food establishments. Grammatical constructions in translation
Content module 2: TOURIST MOTIVATION AND TRAVEL AGENCIES. TRANSPORT
Topic 4. Rural tourism. Lexical translation techniques and transformations. Non-equivalent vocabulary in translation
Topic 5. Special tours. Translation of international and terminological vocabulary. "False friends" of the translator.
Topic 6. Business tourism. Translation of established phrases and idioms.
