Course content
Topography is one of the main methods of objective knowledge and data visualization for metric and thematic mapping. The subject of the educational discipline is technical, software and hardware tools, techniques and methods of performing field filming, creating maps and plans based on the results of processing ground topographic surveys. The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules: Module 1. Basics of using topographic maps in solving scientific and practical problems. Module 2. Topographic and geodetic works necessary for creating topographic maps and plans.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written control work, defense of practical works. Final (final) assessment in the form of credit (assessment for knowledge of theory (minimum 12, maximum 20 points); assessment for the practical part (13 - 20). For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 35 points, in order to be admitted to the credit, it is necessary to pass an additionally completed individual complex task.
