            1. Successful completion of Mathematics courses"; "Physics", "Hydrology of rivers", "Hydrology of lakes", "Hydrology of swamps, glaciers and groundwater", "Basics of meteorology", "General and historical geology", "Soil science with the basics of soil geography", "Topography with the basics of geodesy" , "Cartography" "Hydrographic characteristics of river basin regions of Ukraine".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of hydrology; meteorology, geology, earth sciences, topography, cartography, mathematics, methods of processing and analysis of hydrological information.
3. To have elementary skills of collection, processing of observation data, statistical analysis of hydrological series and hydrological calculations. processing and analysis of cartographic information.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is for students to acquire theoretical principles and practical knowledge, skills and abilities regarding the principles of organizing observations and research on water bodies, familiarization with hydrometric devices used in hydrometric work, consideration of methods of processing the results of observations, quantitative calculation and accounting of various elements water and hydrological regime of rivers and other water bodies.
