Learning outcomes
PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. PR06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its geospheres. PR10. Analyze the composition and structure of geospheres (in accordance with specialization) on different spatial and temporal scales. PR12. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in Earth sciences according to specialization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Study of discipline "General and historical geology" 2) Ability to analyze the relief on topographic maps, understand the relationship geomorphological and climatic, hydrological processes, to assess the current environmental situation on different information sections, identify the main environmental problems and conflicts of nature use. 3) possession of skills in analyzing cartographic materials and map construction.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical and applied issues of modern geomorphology and paleogeography. The structure of the discipline involves the study of relief as a result of interaction of endogenous and exogenous processes during the evolution of the Earth and the interaction of its shells. Considerable attention is paid to modern hazardous processes and their research different areas of applied geomorphology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including independent work. Modular control works are carried out in test form. Students who received less than the minimum number of points for MCW less than the minimum required number of points, retake it. The first MCW is held in the last week of October, the second MCW is held in the the first week of December.
