To know the essence and features of the territorial organization of production and consumption, the prerequisites for the location and territorial organization of production and consumption, the content of the main methods of researching the geography of production and consumption, the structural and territorial features of industrial production and consumption of goods in different regions of the country. To be able to give a detailed description of the essence of the territorial organization of production and consumption, to determine the patterns and principles of the location of production and consumption in a given territory, to identify and analyze various groups of factors that influence the location of production and consumption, the links between production and consumption of products.

Full-time form

1. Successful completion of the courses "Social Geography", "Economic Geography", "Geography of Services", "Geography of the World Economy". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of social geography, theories and concepts of population distribution, production. 3. Possession of modern methods of searching, systematizing and primary processing of geographic information, skills of analyzing and synthesizing geographic information, comparative geographic analysis, grouping and typification.

The essence, patterns and principles of the geography of production and consumption are explained, the objective and specific features of the territorial organization of production in accordance with the natural and socio-economic conditions of individual regions, the main methods of studying the geography of production and consumption, the analysis of production and consumer relations. The features of the location and territorial organization of production and consumption of goods and services are studied.

Lectures, seminars, discussions, solving specific problems and situations, analytical work, independent work

The course includes 2 substantive parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. During the semester, after completing the relevant topics, two written thematic tests and a final test in the form of a credit are held. Throughout the entire period of studying the discipline, ongoing control of students' performance of seminar class tasks and independent work is carried out. Ongoing control of the discipline is carried out during seminar classes and is aimed at checking the level of knowledge acquisition and the student's readiness to perform individual creative tasks in the discipline. The final grade for the discipline is formed as the sum of points received: for work during the semester in seminar classes, performance of an individual creative practical task, thematic tests (maximum 60 points) and for the answer to the credit (maximum 40 points).
