Learning outcomes
The learning outcomes are to familiarize students with the theoretical foundations of modern anthropogenic landscape science; to familiarize them with the functional diversity and classification of recreational landscapes, the characteristic features and specific features of recreational landscapes of various types;
to develop the skills and abilities necessary for recreational landscape analysis as one of the areas of applied landscape research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully master the knowledge of the discipline, students must: 1) successfully master the knowledge of the courses "Geography of Recreational Resources", "Medical Geography", "Recreational Geography", etc.; 2) have basic knowledge of physical geography, economic and social geography, general geology, meteorology and climatology, the basics of soil science and soil geography, biogeography, landscape science, etc.
Course content
The academic discipline "Recreational Landscapes" provides for familiarization with the theoretical foundations and applied aspects of recreational landscape science as one of the areas of anthropogenic landscape science; acquisition of skills in recreational landscape analysis as one of the areas of applied landscape research. During the study of the discipline, attention is also paid to the formation of important professional competencies of a bachelor of geography - skills and abilities to plan and conduct research and report on their results, to act professionally and tolerantly in various natural, socio-economic and ethnocultural conditions, preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
The academic discipline consists of two content parts and provides for a final control in the form of an exam. The results of students' educational activities are assessed on a 100-point scale. Throughout the entire period of studying the discipline, ongoing control of students' tasks and independent work is carried out. Current control in the discipline "Recreational Landscapes" is carried out during seminar classes. Based on the assessments of the current control and the results of the control work, the sum of points for a separate content part (thematic control) is set. The final control of students' knowledge in the discipline is a written exam, which takes place in two stages and provides for: 1) examination testing according to individual options; 2) writing detailed answers to two questions.
