Learning outcomes
Aimed at gaining knowledge on understanding the subject area and professional activity and the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources regarding regional development management; the ability to exercise one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of a civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development; the ability to preserve and multiply the moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society based on an understanding of the history and patterns of regional development; the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the main characteristics of regional processes, as well as the use of theories, paradigms, concepts and principles specific to geographical sciences in accordance with specialization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Social Geography", "Economic Geography", "Theory and Practice of Planning".
2. Possession of basic skills in the application of general scientific methods.
Course content
The discipline is aimed at gaining knowledge about the theoretical and methodological principles of regional development management, organizational forms of management, and the formation of skills and abilities regarding state regional policy in the field of regional management.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes 2 substantive parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. During the semester, after completing the relevant substantive modules, written module tests are conducted. The maximum number of points awarded for the 1st and 2nd substantive modules is 30 points. The discipline ends with a test. The maximum number of points for the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the test). Students who have scored a total of less points than the critical minimum of 20 points are not allowed to take the test. The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 36 points.
