Learning outcomes
To consolidate the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the subject-object area of ​​the discipline, to form an idea of ​​the relationships between individual subjects of the geographical environment and as a whole; to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values ​​and achievements of society based on an understanding of the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society and in the development of society, technology and engineering, to appropriately and critically use geographical concepts, concepts, paradigms, theories, ideas, principles to explain phenomena and processes at different spatial levels (global, regional, national, local); to establish the role and place of Ukraine in the modern world in the context of geographical factors of its development, to analyze and explain the features of the geospatial organization of nature, the population and the economy of Ukraine.

1. Successful mastery of the disciplines "Geography of the world economy", "Human geography", "Economic geography", "Mathematical and statistical methods in geography", "Geography of the countries of the Global North", "Geography of the countries of the Global South", "Social geography", "Geography of services", "Socio-economic geography of Ukraine", "Ukraine and countries of the world: geopolitical and geoeconomic positioning". 2. Be able to use various sources of information in the system of international relations, analyze them and formulate conclusions, graphically represent statistical information. 3. Know the main theoretical provisions of economic geography, the patterns of the geospatial structure of the world, regions, individual countries, including Ukraine.
Course content
The academic discipline involves studying the features of the development and cooperation of countries in the geographical environment, both at the global and regional levels. The discipline is aimed at forming in students special professional, social and personal competencies, accumulating knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, assess the parameters of the economic efficiency of the interaction of individual entities of the world economy in the geographical environment; conduct a situational analysis and determine possible options for their more effective solution. Separate components of the discipline are the study of the conceptual foundations of the geographical environment, its basic concepts and components (geographic and environmental environment, anthroposphere, natural resources, resource availability, etc.).

Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes 2 substantive parts. An individual assignment is required, which is performed in the format of a presentation. The discipline ends with an exam. During the semester, after completing the relevant topics, thematic written tests are conducted. To determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes, students present the results of their scientific research and demonstrate the acquired skills. For students who have not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, a final semester test is conducted, the maximum score for which cannot exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for learning outcomes cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 20, 20, 5 and 5 points, respectively).
